To be human is to ache and to long.
\nIt is to carry contradictions: strength and softness, faith and doubt, brilliance and brokenness \u2014 sometimes all at once.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s waking up hopeful, and by evening, questioning everything.
\nIt\u2019s loving people who may never love us the same way back.
\nIt\u2019s fighting for dreams we sometimes don\u2019t believe we deserve.
\nIt\u2019s messing up, apologizing (or not), and trying again.<\/p>\n
To be human is to need \u2014 not just food or water \u2014 but meaning, belonging, connection.
\nTo be held. To be known. To be seen in all our rawness and still not be left.
\nIt\u2019s laughing inappropriately at funerals and crying in the middle of supermarkets.
\nIt\u2019s finding God in unexpected places and still sometimes feeling abandoned by Him.<\/p>\n
Being human means we carry invisible weights no one sees, and still show up.
\nIt means we grieve people who are still alive.
\nIt means we bleed from things no one touched.
\nIt means we carry stories that don\u2019t make sense, and wounds that didn\u2019t ask for permission.<\/p>\n
And maybe\u2026 maybe being human is also about becoming.
\nNot just who we were born as \u2014 but who we choose to be, especially when it\u2019s hard.
\nIt\u2019s forgiving without closure.
\nIt\u2019s staying tender when life wants you to harden.
\nIt\u2019s hoping again even after disappointment.
\nIt\u2019s choosing to break cycles, even though we were raised inside them.<\/p>\n
To be human is weighty and wonder-filled.
\nNot perfect. Not painless. But deeply worth it.
\nBecause somehow, in all the mess and miracle, we get to live this one wild life \u2014 as we are.<\/p>\n
